Maintenance plan

Negative on this one. I make sure I have time set aside each month to provide site updates if you need them. In the same way as a monthly subscription service works – you get access to the service during that month, but unused time doesn’t carry over. 

This ensures that all clients receive equal attention and service based on their maintenance package allowance. It prevents the scenario where one client accumulates many hours, possibly leading to delayed service for others.

If you sign up for a package that included time for site updates, that time covers any updates, additions or add-ons to your website. For example, changing hours, company information, staff or team members, adding new photos, updating services pages, etc.

While I do my best to get updates done within your allotted time, if more time is required, I can do so with our hourly retainer which for you is discounted!

Note: The allotted monthly time is for work or updates on the existing website and cannot be used for other projects or a step-by-step website revamp. I’m happy to do those things either via my discounted hourly rate or via a discounted and separate fixed project!

Absolutely not! My website care plans include a hassle-free, no-questions-asked guarantee. You have total freedom if you ever need to withdraw your website from my maintenance plan. Your plan is billed only for the month or year you’ve paid for.

I will maintain a website for standard WordPress websites if you have to host elsewhere as long as the hosting is with Siteground, Namecheap, Flywheel, or WPEngine. These hosting providers ensure their servers meet my requirements for properly maintaining and optimizing websites.

If I build your website, there is no setup fee as long as you sign up within 90 days of the site’s launch!

If you’re a client of mine and, after 90 days, you’d like to join my hosting/maintenance plan at any level, there is a $99 setup fee because I need to update all tools, clean up the database, install our tools, and backup the site, among other tasks.

If someone else designed your website, there is a $250 setup fee. I need to do a lot of work upfront to update the site, learn the tools, and prepare it for appropriate maintenance.

Website hosting is not included in my Woocommerce Maintenance Plans, but I can help you set up your hosting account with Siteground if you need me to. 

For e-commerce websites, I recommend the GrowBig Plan with Siteground, which starts at $3.99 USD/month. If you need me to set up your hosting account on your behalf, please let me know when you submit your accepted proposal.

My maintenance plans are optional for clients and highly recommended because of the importance of security, optimization, updates, backups, support, etc.

If you choose to forego my care plan, you’re welcome to. In that case, you will assume complete responsibility for the website updates, security, backups, and other services laid out in this plan by reviewing our Disclaimer, which releases us from any involvement if and when the website is breached, hacked, or performed slowly because of a lack of proper optimization.

Absolutely! If you decide to return to me after having initially passed on the plan due to the work involved in properly maintaining the site, I’ll welcome you to the plan with open arms and ensure your site is protected and cared for.

I’ll always try to complete your updates within the time allotted in your care plan to save you some extra cost, but if you have a decent number of updates that will require more hours, I’ll give you an estimate of the time it will take at my hourly rate, which is reduced for you as a special, monthly care client!

In this case, you’re welcome to handle it in-house by reaching out to my preferred malware and blacklist removal specialists, or if you’d like to join my plan and have me take care of getting the hack cleaned, I have a $499 site cleaning/set up fee.

Depending on the type of hack/breach and how long the site has been compromised, SEO rankings and blacklisting issues may take weeks or even months to resolve and, in some cases, will require additional work to recover from.

Important note: I do not fix website hacks unless the site will subsequently be added to one of my care plans.
